The upcoming July 4 centennial at the Presidio County Courthouse will be privately funded by County Commissioners Cordero Estrada Benavidez Cox, County Judge Martinez, and Acting County Attorney Newsome. An open house runs 4 to 6 p.m. with speeches and flag ceremony, a barbecue 7 to 8 30 p.m. and a street dance 8 30 p.m. to midnight. Admission to the dance is five dollars per person.
