Lost Spaniard Mine Found Near Brookeville Oklahoma

A long rumored Oklahoma mine, named the Lost Spaniard, reportedly located about thirteen miles from Bro mide, is claimed found. The Mystery Mining and Milling Company holds a twenty acre tract with ore samples assayed for lead and silver. A stockholders tour confirmed the site, though the mine shaft had caved in and timbers rotted. Old Indian lore and local fear or lease issues delayed development. The allotment is owned by a twelve year old Indian boy.
