Three new pupils entered school Monday Misses Priecilla Seabaugh of Patton Lillie Limbaugh of Sedgewickville and Sir James of Mayfield. Our enrollment now one hundred. Elizabeth Thiele of Sedgewickville entered school Wednesday. George Cravat visited Friday Columbua Tinnin visited home folks Saturday and Sunday. Pearl Lutes was sick last week but is in school again. R.A. Tinnin went to Burfordville Sunday. Dr GC A Caldwell of Fair Oaks Ark and Bob Drum visited Monday. Corn planting is about over. William Kaller and wife adopted a girl of Henry Fikuart's. We expect a fine wheat crop. Misses Giio Montgomery and Emma Mura went to Fredericktown this week hoping to find employment. James Mercer of Colorado visiting relatives here. One of Joseph Padleia boys visiting relatives here. Henry Fikuart left for St Louis a few days ago. We had some rain this week. Henry Yount is filling a new bond as postmaster this week. This will be a money order office and receive a daily mail henceforth.

Seabaugh over the weekend while Albert Dalton and family of Patton called on relatives here. Mrs. M. A. Smith and Mollie visited W. S. Smith on Sunday. Sunday School remains active. T. B. Drom conducted business in Marble Hill last week. Dr. G. A. Statler visited kin near Dollemill Sunday. France Seabaugh hosted a party Saturday night for the youngsters. Dr. Jacob Seabaugh, the town veterinarian, stays busy. Several drummers have recently visited.
N A Jenkins and Les Brown of Cape county were fined 7.50 each plus costs after appearing before Esquire Flaskey for disturbing the peace at Hurricane church. Nearby residents, including Louie Upchurch and J J Patton, are noted in routine visits and local happenings amid a string of minor incidents and remarks from Mayfield to Bessville and Shrum.
