Btt announces his candidacy for Judge of the Twenty-Seventh Judicial Circuit subject to the acts of the democracy.
Hon George T Lee of Van Buren Carter County announces candidacy for re election to the state senate from his district subject to Democratic convention or primary. The notice names Lee as the candidate and notes the process for nomination.
Hon Madison R Smith of Farmington Ste Francois County announces his candidacy for Congress from the district, subject to the democratic convention or primary.

J K R Bortres a senior United States Letter from Kansas was found guilty in the U S district court in St Louis on Monday of taking money from the Rialto Grain and Securities Co for protecting them before the postoffice department. He allegedly received 500 dollars per month for such favors though the punishment has not yet been fixed.
The State Horticultural Society plans a strawberry exhibit at its next session in the Missouri building at the World's Fair in Jones 3. Prizes totaling 150 dollars will reward Missourians for the best displays, encouraging quality and community participation in this credible show.

Several measles cases reported nearby. Miss Ivy Cole visited Prot. 4ames' home Sunday. Wolves reportedly attacked Asa Stevens's sheep, killing several lambs and one old sheep. Mr. J. S. Robbins and Miss Laura Nanney were quietly married at the bride's parents' home near here on March 23, Rev. A. J. Lincoln officiating. Asa L. Stevens and wife visited Lutesville Saturday.
A March 20 wedding at the Seabaugh home near Patton united Miss Priscilla Seabaugh and Charles Bollinger with Rev Charlton performing. The ceremony featured Sarah Fikwart on the Wedding March and a reception with about sixty guests, a later meal, and plans to establish a home soon.
