Our Correspondents note pleasant spring weather health good and busy farmers preparing crops. Residents upgrade homes, fence projects underway, and travel includes visits to St Louis and Marble Hill with jury service and church activities. Weather brings rain and hail. fruit expected barring late frost.
Various short items describe Miss Lilie Murray Bessie Cashion and Rosy Mitchell at gatherings, students at lyceum events, speakers and the hypnotic power observed. Neighbors and families frequent church, visits and pie suppers, and local couples attending on Sundays. A light political joke closes the item.

Mr and Mrs Andy Moore on sick list. H B Venable on sick list. Mrs J F P Ricketts and family from Marble Hill visited. Allen Hale very ill. Mrs Susan Watts of Glen Allen visited. L C Griffith and family spent Easter at Mabure's. A wind storm hit Friday night. Ozy Mas Jack noted.
Wind storms Friday and Thursday nights damaged barns in Hurricane area as G G Lincoln’s roof and Frank Lincoln’s barn were blown off or down. J C Ridings plans new wire fence, Easter Sunday visitors Webster Limbaugh and Will Whitener, and Rev T W Cooper at Hurricane Fork church anticipate larger attendance on a future Sunday with a third Saturday return planned.
Health is reasonably good in this area with Julius Cook and family visiting H. J. Lincoln. Misses Ursa Etrown and Minnie Patton visited Eula and Marie Nankey. M. Cook traveled west on business. Easter dinner drew young folks to Avery Bollinger's. E. M. Cook and family from Fredericktown called on S. E. DeWitt. H. A. Tallent children visiting Albert Jones near Burfordville. Harry Hatiners and family visited H. C. Land. J. N. Cook has had phone fever. Lola Dockins visited Elsie Crader. Rev. P. M. Robins preached. Farmers sowing oats. Jesse Miller preached. Frank and Mose Lincoln's barn blown down by wind. J. J. Patton and family visited Dan Limbaugh. C. E. Schnell, the champion sawmill man, is busy. J. Patton and son Estel finished oats and bought a fine coroner, yet his mind rose to meet difficulties.
Trustee F. M. Wiwas auctions at the Marble Hill courthouse to satisfy a past due promissory note secured by a deed of trust dated March 1912 by Thomas E White. The two lots 23 and 26 in Marble Hill, Lot 23 and 26, block P, Water Street frontage, are to be sold to the highest bidder for cash between morning and afternoon hours.
