Remarkable Growth in Missouri College of Agriculture

The Missouri College of Agriculture will graduate seventy five men and women at the June commencement in 1913. The class is ten times larger than the 1907 graduating class, with enrollment up four hundred percent. Many graduates have already become teachers or investigators in various agricultural institutes or by the United States government. The United States drought service notes irrigated farm projects in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and others. Water rights and homestead provisions are outlined, with settlements reporting five months of absence allowed per year. Agricultural opportunities and assistance are described, highlighting farm operations and supporting agencies affiliated with the university system.
