MTs Sir Theodore Adame and family visited relatives as Albert Barrett and Miss May Huskey wed near this place on December 26. Rev Darritt officiated. Bridesmaids were Misses Huskey and Nanney. Groomsmen included Lee Nanney and Woskey. The bride, a respected teacher, and groom, formerly a teacher, have a future home in Lateuville with Pioneer Cooperative. Gifts included a silver tea set and linen.
Dr. Murray tended the Moyers infant with pneumonia fever as Inez Kitchen recovers. Opal Tallant died December 26 of brain and spine congestion. Sallie Kitchen finished a four month teaching term and will teach again. Rev J M King postponed Pleasant Valley appointment due to ill health. School reopened after three weeks for whooping cough. Infant Shelly died December 27 and was laid to rest at Liberty cemetery. Several youths attended Christmas at Patton. Summers visited Glen Allen area. Dora and Ethel Mabace visited W G Kitchen. A Younts unnamed son is seriously ill with pneumonia.
