Richard J Welch was born December 6, 1815 and died January 11, 1904 at age 59 years. He professed faith in 1882 and lived a devoted Christian life, enduring 16 months of paralysis. He was a loving husband and father, a caring neighbor, and respected by all. Funeral services were led by Rev. Joseph Lessley and he was laid to rest in Lessley cemetery. He leaves a wife, six children, and many friends to mourn.
