Township Chairman will authorize enrollment and solicitation for Red Cross during December 22 23 and 24.Helpers must obtain enrollment blanks from the chairman and receive instruction from him.
Reports from Poplar Bluff to Caruthersville note business men seek shorter hours to save fuel this winter while Farming ton aims to lure Brown Shoe Co to locate a plant in Carlton college buildings. Across the region residents endure severe cold, some confined to bed amid fuel shortages and blizzards.
