C F Hopkins declares strong customer support spurring business growth with November up over 30 percent from 1919. He predicts higher prices ahead within 60 days and unveils deep cuts in ladies ready to wear including all wool tricotine suits and dresses at reduced prices.
All wool scarves and sweaters advertised with multiple styles reduced from six to nine dollars. Regular price reductions from 4.45 to 6.98 on various sweaters, plus heavy rope stitch coats at 6.98. Headgear knitwear sold quickly. Shoe Dept offering youth dress shoes and men’s dress shoes with prices starting at 1.98 and 2.98.
Ladies silk hose return to pre war prices from 75¢ to $2 per pair. Sale features gray mixed hose 5c, men's wool hose 3 for 25c, Rub No More Soap 4 for 29c, Acorn Soap 6 for 25c, Cleane Easy 4 for 25c, All Twist Tobacco 3 for 25c, and All 10c Smoking Tobacco. Sale ends at close of business December 24.
