A notice from 1891 states Peter Bess took up a boy about 13 years old, valued at $22.50, to be presented before Justice Henry Gaines in Wayne Township, Bollinger County Missouri, describing the scar on his forehead.
Sheriff John Lubedy announces a sale of the east half of the southwest quarter and the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of section 22, township 31, range 10 west in Bollinger County Missouri. On September 16, 1891 at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the courthouse door Marble Hill the property will be sold to satisfy the debt secured by a deed of trust dated February 2, 1880 in favor of Hieab Pape, with costs and fees.
F M Wells files a petition and affidavit in Hollinger County stating defendant James Senhauch is a non resident. An attachment action arises from a note for $115. The Clerk orders publication and summons the defendant to appear by the next term at the Marble Hill courthouse in Bollinger County on a date in August 1891. Public notice says failure to appear will lead to judgment by default.
