Presbytery meets at Mt Dale and ordains member
The Springfield Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian church convened at Mt. Dale on October 1 at 11 am with Rev. Duggins preaching the introductory sermon after the retiring moderator was absent. Rev. Joseph Davis was elected moderator and Rev. L Hastings joined as a new member. A letter from Elk Creek church in Wright County was received under presbytery care. Nancy Foster memorials and a missionary meeting raised over $10. The presbytery adjourned to meet at Pleasant Grove in Greene County in April 1914.
