Decoration Day Observed in Mansfield by American Legion
By request of Clarence King Post No 125 American Legion all soldiers sailors and marines are asked to be in Mansfield May 30 in uniform to participate in Decoration Day exercises. G A R members and friends invited to join the tribute. The Mansfield band will provide music then process to the cemetery to decorate graves under American Legion auspices.

Auto Crash Injures Five in Ford Tour Car Near Cantrell Residence
Five of nine occupants were injured when a Ford touring car driven by Jason Hight wrecked near D S Cantrell's home at about 5 PM Sunday as another vehicle tried to pass near a culvert. Barney Hight suffered severe cuts and bruises, H L Camp had a broken arm, and Mrs Camp Jason Hight and T J Young were cut and bruised. The other four occupants Myra Hight Aretha Young and Wolland Young were uninjured. The wreck happened on the way back from a ball game.
