A flood of local ads and notices fills the Mansfield area, promoting hardware and farm gear, dress goods and bargains at Reynolds and the Cash Mercantile Co. Several social items note visits, weddings, and travel. Public notices warn against berry picking without permission while the W. C. T. U. plans a meeting.
Mansfield will host a good roads meeting on Thursday July 6 with representatives from Springfield and towns along the Frisco line from Springfield to Cabool and from Licking and Houston expected to attend. The gathering aims to discuss road improvements and regional cooperation.
In a Saturday ceremony in New York Doak and Mary J Black were married and will reside at University, North Dakota after Sept 1. The bride sister of the Mirror editor has a notable career from University of Missouri to the North Dakota model high school, then Columbia University and teaching in New York City. The Mirror extends congratulations.
Mansfield will hold its Fourth of July celebration on Monday July 5 due to the holiday falling on Sunday. The event is under Mansfield Concert Band auspices with Rev W Needham of Seymour secured for an address and Congressman T L Rubey of Lebanon slated to speak at 2 30 p.m.

N L Richardson and family departed Saturday for a new six room home on Page Avenue in Springfield. The move aims to provide their daughter Ethyl with thorough musical education. Richardson has long resided in the county and served two terms as recorder of deeds and months as assistant cashier at the Bank of Hartville.

The B Y P U program features Rev. J M England on work and themes from First Thessalonians with three minute discussions by J H Pool and Galatians readings with C A Stephens. A Young Men quartet, Rev J E Seal on church membership, and Mrs J B Craig singing Somewhere the sun is shining accompany the systematic Bible Reader's course by Eula Newton. All are invited. program closes promptly for church service.
We thank friends and neighbors for their kindness during our father James Rippee's illness and death. The children extend gratitude and note a celebration at Mansfield on July 5.

Roy’s features music and dessert, with extended family visits across the area.
