Thanksgiving guests include Mr and Mrs Li M Roy and daughter Mrs Birdie Hale in Nevada. Chas Garton visited Ava home from Wednesday to Saturday, returning with wife and Miss India Ridgway who attended the Roy schoolhouse pie supper. Ralph and Tom Brazeal dined at S M Roy's. Mrs Amos Roy and baby Rexal spent Friday there while Amos worked on the farm. Pie supper raised 1612 dollars to fund the new heating system. India Ridgway won cake for prettiest girl, Hosea Freeman won soap and towel for dirtiest young man, Frank Mays won pipe and tobacco. Fielding Kieth family with Francis Kieth and wife Sunday. John Roy finished a term in Hunter district and stayed home. J D Avery of Mansfield missed Prairie Hollow appointment due to illness of Uncle Sam Freeman. Misses Gertie Shinpaugh and others visited Nora Letsinger Sunday. A rock accident injured Ralph Robertson during a Sunday play at Ben Freeman's.

Accident During Thanksgiving Hunt Injures Kan sas City Man
R. H. Reeves, 29, of Kansas City, was accidentally shot in the face by birdshot on the Rippee farm while hunting with H. G. Mundin O. L. Robinett and Hose Rippee. He was taken to Springfield hospital with Dr. J. A. Fvson assisting. Reeves may lose sight of one eye but is reported as doing nicely. Reeves had arrived with Mundin and a companion to visit O. L. Robinett for Thanksgiving.
