Summer Complaint Remedy for Infants and Children
A simple home treatment for summer complaint in infants and young children is proposed. Use an enema of one teaspoon vinegar in one cup cold water, then place the fingers under the body near the spine and lift to transfer weight, repeated two to three times. Keep the patient quiet and offer dry toast and hot boiled liquids. The writer claims the method calms the nerves controlling digestion and can end severe distress when medicines fail, with repetition as needed.
