Lawrence Morrissey aged 56 of Franklinman died last Friday night at Wayside from injuries after a hit and run. He was en route home. Survivors include his widow a daughter four sons a brother and two sisters. Mrs Maria Schmidtmann 74 died Saturday morning at her farm home in Two Rivers route 2. Funeral services were held Monday at the Kossuth Baptist church. She is survived by two sons and four grandchildren.
