The Walther League held a hayrack ride and served a hot lunch at Mrs. Elmer Koke's home. Pleasant Row Cemetery association met and elected President Dick Morris Secretary Leo Morris and Treasurer Harry McCarty. Chas Wills of Forest City collects donations to fund cemetery cleanup.
Mrs Effie Dierker hosted her birthday club on Wednesday afternoon. A string of social visits includes Mr and Mrs Henry Strube along with Marvel Lee and others spending time with Chase B Willard, and various families hosting or visiting in Pekin Bartonville Havana and Letts. Miss Orvillene Himmel and Albert Beltz wed in Detroit Michigan with Himmel a registered nurse. the couple will reside in Detroit.
