Inter Planetary Rocket Improbable Says Engineer
GE engineer Dr. R. W. Porter warns an inter planetary rocket is highly improbable due to enormous cost and engineering challenges. He estimates a 500 foot long 2000 ton rocket would be needed, with a two stage duplex design potentially breaking Earth gravity at about seven miles per second.

Forage Seeding Mixes with Brome and Alfalfa
The guide recommends seeding brome grass with alfalfa by mixing with grain and using the main drill box. Use three to five pounds of brome for shallow sowing and remove large drill hoses to prevent grass seed loss. A mixture of six to eight pounds alfalfa with brome or similar levels of June clover with timothy provides a good shallow seed bed with light covering and cultipacking.
Moon Phases Do Not Determine Cold Weather
Records show that cold weather occurs with equal likelihood during new and full moons or other phases. A proverb about a clear moon causing frost holds in winter because clear skies allow rapid heat loss from Earth's surface, while cloud cover reduces cooling and condensation of frost or dew.
