The Forest City Federated Church schedules services on Sunday June 13 1954 with Morning Worship a sermon by the pastor and an Evening Service featuring the Egypt Community Church chair Mrs Mabel Crosby Forest City Mixed Quartet and meditations themed around the 23rd Psalm. The program emphasizes special music and meditations for the public.
After the evening service the Come-Join-Us Class at Forest City Church hosts a special hour in the church basement with light refreshments served.

The Altar and Rosary Society of the church of the Immaculate Conception will hold their June meeting Monday evening, June 14. Mrs. Eva Wilson and Mrs. Ernest Palmer are hostesses for the evening.
Dean of Western State Teachers College Dr. Wm. Leipsy and his wife were dinner guests of Ronald Thomas and his parents Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomas and family were also in attendance.
Mason County 4-H plans three district record schools in June. The events, led by Home Adviser Grace A Wegner and assistant Norma Jean Kramer, will be in Havana on June 23 at 1 00 p m CST, Manito Forest City on June 29 at 1 00 p m CST, and Forman High School on June 30 at 10 30 a m EST. Each meeting urges members to bring a sack lunch and enjoy recreation.

Mason County 4-H members plan a July district camp at Lake Jacksonville with youths from Sangamon McDonough Scott Calhoun Peoria Pike and Schuyler Brown counties.
