Cleanup at Legion Hall Lot Friday Evening

A clean-up is scheduled this Friday evening at the Legion Hall lot. Volunteers with mowers sickles or pocket knives are welcome to help trim the yard and should have equipment ready to start at 6:30 daylight time. Free grass for all who cut.

The Manito Youth for Christ rally meets Saturday at 8 p.m. in Forman Gym with Rev. Wilbur Beswick of Crewe Cover as speaker. Forman Athletes Receive Letters

Forman High School awarded the block F to 24 boys and 4 cheerleaders for the 1952-53 year. Track, baseball, basketball, and other sports produced multiple letter winners with Parker Lawlis, Pat Lynch, and Joe Parkin among top names. Total costs: about $450 for 90 letters across eight sports funded by the athletic fund.
