The Forest City Merry Mixers 4-H club completed a major achievement program at the Baptist church auditorium. Leaders Miss Jeanne Hibbard and Mrs. John Harms presided as twenty girls performed piano numbers, demonstrations, a dressing-revue, and a cookie demonstration, highlighting a successful club year.
Daniel and Mrs. Woiwode hosted a charivari after marrying June 25 at St. Patrick's Havana. Many friends from Manila Havana and nearby towns attended at their Forest City home. Daniel works with Woivode and Sons Contractors Co. and the family has recently built new homes in town. 4 H Girl to Attend Camp notes preparations by Miss Jeanne Hibbard.
The leader and girls of the Merry Mixers 4-H club prepare for the new Lake Jacksonville camp voyage from July 24 to 28. Miss Jeanne Hibbard and girls Lurelle Whitaker Darlene Dosier Janet Skinner Delores Hirst Carolyn Warner have secured reservations and will join the Mason County 4-H Achievement program after completing local projects. The group and their mothers and leaders will enjoy an afternoon and evening at Pekin Park with a Friday supper and are urged to attend.
