Easter Sunrise and Morning Worship Services Held in Forest City
Crowds attended Easter services in Forest City with a record 60 youths at the 6:30 a.m. Sunrise service at the Methodist church. Rev. Joseph W. Hobbs led prayers and sermonette “The Power of the Resurrection” at 11:15 a.m. choir director Dillard Warner and soloists Miss Carla Long and Mrs. George Bilyeu performed. Baptismal rites were conducted for several adults and children, accompanied by transfer of membership from other churches.
