Manilla Show plans crowd boost and member drive
The Draft Programme for the First Manilla Show will be completed soon and a strong push for interested donors and members is urged. Collectors have been appointed and the program aims to attract many competitors. Membership costs £1 1s and grants free ground and grandstand entry, plus reduced fees in most classes. A list of paid-up members appears, with many local figures named. Also noted are a welcome home for Mrs Burrell of Caermarthen and mentions of local sports figures, a royal book offer for poultry keepers, and a call to action for early membership submissions.
