Sewing Twine Must Use Five Ply Flax for Wheat Bags
A letter to the editor from G. G. Nicholls, State Superintendent of the Australian Wheat Board, urges wheat growers to use five ply flax sewing twine for bagged wheat. He notes many used four or five ply jute twine last year, which is unsuitable and leads to rebagging, damaged grain, and higher costs, reducing growers’ payments. Twine merchants confirm five ply flax is readily available and safer for stock and transport.

Rifle Shooting at Anvic Club Weekend Events

Negligent Driving Defendant Discharged in Tamworth Case
