First Manilla Scout Log Shows Signalling and Ambulance Progress
The Masonic Hall hosted a Manilla Scout meeting on Tuesday September 30 where about six scouts passed signalling and compass tests. Don McMillan led in the second class badge after earning the ambulance test. The Peewits led the patrol competition with strong play as two new members joined. The club announced a dance on October 27 with two cash prizes for ticket sales and a cricket meeting for the Saturday monster event. Miss Wearne won the ambulance competition. A farewell for Mr and Mrs RO Allen was planned for tonight.
