Manilla Court Hears Assault Charge Against 86-Year-Old
At Manilla Police Court on Tuesday last William Singleton 86 pensioner faced charges of unlawfully assaulting his wife Maud Matilda Singleton. Proceedings revealed a contested scene with a pea rifle and three children found in a bedroom. The bench ordered the defendant to stay away from his wife and adjourned to December 6 Bail set at £10.
