It cautions against gloomy talk of low mood while noting less labour shortages and resilient sales though some textiles and light manufacturing soften. It also criticizes the credit squeeze and import restrictions as drastic, arguing for targeted government cuts and confidence restoration to attract capital. A separate item announces the Dol Show at the Infants School organized by the Moors Club with penny votes prize and a tea for mothers and children.
