Manilla Show Improves with New Cattle and Sheep Pavilions
Entries for Manilla Show close today with high anticipation after extensive ground improvements. A 55 by 47 foot cattle pavilion of round pine with iron roof, 20 stalls plus 20 more in two skilling areas, and a 6 foot wall size enhance comfort for breeders and owners. The sheep pavilion extends 48 feet to 160 feet long with 100 permanent pens, allowing 220 sheep to be exhibited. Ground perimeter expanded by 33 feet, new iron fence and gates, improved water access, and more dog kennels planned as finances improve. Sanitary facilities rebuilt for both sexes, bar counters and shutters, five stand pipes, and centralized water supply boost public convenience.
