May meeting of Manilla CWA at Rest Room
Manilla branch of the C W A held its May meeting on Saturday May 14 with president Mrs Ora presiding. Members present included Mesdames Bow man Coulton Ryan Green Dwyer Park M Park 8 B Park Stafford Podmore Wilson Longfair Suliman BO Bowhman Brooker Studdy V Dowe Moore Young Miss Mackenzie Sneesby and Miss O'Donnell. Apologies from several members were noted. Proposals included funding for a Baby Health Centre in Manilla, a jumble sale on June 17, and room arrangements for the sale. Donations included a pram and two chairs for the Rest Room and a £12 anonymous gift for Rest Room rent.
