Mandowa Shire Council Year in Review 1937
The President M Park reports twelve council meetings with high attendance and a vacancy filled by F B R Heywood’s son. The year saw income around £10,000, major planned works on Namoi bridge and Manilla roads, limited funds restricting new construction, plus new plant purchases and motor ramp trials. Loss of long-serving Cr F E Heywood noted.
