Manilla Rural School prize day honors trophy winners
At Manilla Rural School annual prize giving, silver cups were displayed with engraved school badges for winners. School concert delights with young performers and film finale
The prize giving concert by boys and girls drew hearty applause from a delighted audience. Mary Carter and Pat Edgar opened with a pianoforte duet, infants sang carols, and Santy distributed dolls. The event showcased musical talent across classes with choirs, a flute band, and Hawaiian dance. A cowboy yodel, patriotic songs, and a Jones Family film concluded the evening, with thanks to staff and volunteers for decorations and help.
