At the Siwilla War Agricultural Committee meeting a letter from headquarters stated excess munition workers from Lithgow Bathurst Forbes Parkes Wellington Mudgee Cowra and Portland factories are available for transfer to rural work. The Deputy Director of Manpower will issue a Direction notice directing workers to return to nominated farms. Farmers must submit worker names and farm details urgently to Mr. G. F. Grill.
