Manilla Red Cross Annual Report Highlights Twelve Months
The Manilla Red Cross branch reported strong activity over the past year at its annual meeting held last Saturday. Attendance was about twenty. resignations were noted with no new nominations, and leaders thanked for their service, including President Mrs Stafford Secretary Mrs Chapman and Treasurer Mr Hartley. The report shows 143 financial members, eleven meetings, and a healthy income from the Red Cross Shop and donations. The branch supported state appeals, special campaigns, and the Adoption Scheme, and detailed extensive sewing circle work, book depot shipments, and welfare efforts for convalescents and overseas troops.
