UMW meets at Granite May 12 devotional and visits
The UMW of the Methodist Church met on Wednesday May 12 with Mrs. Fred Blackburn giving the devotional. Members on the program included Mrs. Bert Williams Mrs. H C Ford Mrs. B L Zachary Mrs. O E Murphy Mrs. G W Hayes and Mrs. Ara Outright. Fifteen visits to the sick and shut ins were noted. Various hospital moves and visits were reported including Mrs. Jake Lindsey in Hobart Hospital and Gradus Johnson moved to Mangum Nursing Center.

Mrs. Henson is a niece of Mrs. Guy Martin. Martin earns welding certificate from Amarillo Vo-Tech College. He is the son of Guy and (Mrs.) Martin and works at Cabot Machine Shop in Pampa, Texas.
