J A Welch Dies in Texas
J A Welch, 72, died January 14 in a Plainview Texas hospital after a three week illness. His sister Mrs. J A Welch was joined by Gertrude Greaser Nelma Shirley and Vera Wood of Hobart in Olton Texas to be with the family. Also at the services were Milo Miles Mrs Janell Downen and Jerry Lone Wolf.

Oklahoma State University launches a bicentennial trust drive led by Dr Robert Carl Fite to enlist all graduates and friends as minutemen.
