Mrs. John W. Curry died peacefully Thursday morning after days of illness. Surrounded by her husband and family she passed into eternal rest. The funeral is planned for Thursday afternoon with many relatives and friends expected to mourn. A fuller obituary will follow in next week’s issue.
A Dublin Georgia man writes that his eighty three year old mother has thrived on Electric Bitters for about two years enjoying better appetite strength and sleep. He adds the remedy benefits females weak in general and even children and notes a guarantee for stomach liver and kidney troubles by J Samuels druggist priced fifty cents.

Mr B J Connell marked his sixty fifth birthday on September 7 hosting children Marcus Connell and wife from Jacksonville William Connell Mrs Cora Walker and Mrs Louie Stevens from Manatee Fla. The gathering highlighted family affection with the grandchildren and a tribute to Mr Connell a quiet neighbor and former Robert E Lee soldier.

The Seaboard Air Line railway restored the noon passenger on the Manatee extension and added minor morning and night schedule changes. A double daily passenger service now serves Manatee county, though the morning train still leaves a bit early due to the Terra Ceia spur.
