The Florida Orange notes a busy tourism rush and urges action on county court creation to relieve conditions. It praises fair exhibits, calls for early exhibit shipments, and highlights Manatee hotels possibly closing this season. Sale set for December 3, 1996 in front of the Bradenton court house, to satisfy a decree for F W Pierce against D G Robertson and May E Robertson. Chase T. Curry represents the complainant.
Sheriff M H Wyatt announces an election to decide whether a county court shall be created in Manatee County Florida. The vote will occur at all county polling places on Friday December 28 1906.
Frank A. Walpole delivers a presentation speech at the Manatee Junior High flag raising, praising Pop Miller for gifting the American flag, recounting the flag’s 46 stars and a history of unity, patriotism, and national pride while noting the ceremony will continue on page four.
Postmaster G W Fouts of Riverton Iowa reports a robbery and near-fatal attack in a letter. He attributes his long liver illness and jaundice to his doctor prescribing Electric Bitters which he says cured him after eleven years.
