Fire destroys Atlantic Refining fuller's earth plant
A large fuller's earth plant owned by Atlantic Refining on the Manatee river above Ellenton burned Tuesday night. Valued at about 100000 dollars, the plant was insured. Officials suspect the blaze started in an oil tank and the entire facility was consumed. It was unclear if the Standard Oil owned company will rebuild.
