About seventy five witnesses attended Ed Suber’s hanging on Friday at 1 pm after Sheriff M H Wyatt sprung the trap. Suber walked from his cell to the gallows and, though nervous, spoke nothing. Preachers prayed in the corridor before the drop as Suber claimed conversion and readiness for salvation.

Death of A. J. Robertson Ends Manatee Resident’s Struggles
A. J. Robertson, a Manatee resident of about eighteen months and former Live Oak citizen, died Sunday night after a paralysis attack on Friday. He leaves a wife and several children. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. C. Norton and he was buried in the new Manatee cemetery.
