Malvern Red Cross Surgical Dressing Dept Organized
The Malvern Branch Red Cross Surgical Dressing Department is organized with Mrs. A. E. Cook as supervisor. They have free space donated by Own State Savings Bank and L. W. Boehner for work and dressing rooms. After training by Mrs. D. W. Bushnell and Mrs. Thomas Metcalfe, twelve women are now supervisors. They expect to complete 1200 dressings by September 22 and invite volunteers to help with the work.

Pratt was served late, and all said they enjoyed themselves. Miss Short has been away all summer and returned to South Dakota yesterday where she expects to teach the coming year near Salem.
