Rural Urban Day Highlighted by Mor rison Address

Mills County Farm Bureau Women hosted the annual rural urban day in the Community building with dessert at 1 p m. and Mrs Frank B Morrison wife of Nebraska’s governor as featured speaker on the theme Five Minutes More. She sang God Bless America and group singing was led by Mrs Robert Christensen. Gene ve Wise gave meditations and pins were awarded to past chairs.

Time Now to Join Cub Scouts

The beginning of school marks the resumption of weekly Cub Scout meetings. Boys 8 to 11 may become Cubs by contacting Cubmaster Bill Barber or another Scout. The church also prepared for a God’s Pers on Sale and noted the Wilsons hosting the Ridlen Family Reunion with fifty three members attending from multiple states. slides and paintings by Lois Yates were showcased.
