Corner Conference Football Opens With Five Games
Corner Conference opens this Friday with five games across ten communities. Malvern faces Fremont Mills while Nishna Valley hosts Stanton in premier week action. Fremont Mills, under a new coach, is expected to contend despite last season’s strong run. Malvern’s Panthers, led by Harley McDowell and Athletic Director Pat Reed, boast a near all new squad. Nishna Valley, with Bud Mounts, aims to leverage returning lettermen against Stanton, while the conference title picture remains wide open as last year’s powerhouses rebuild.
