Official minutes show the Malvern Community School District board meeting on August 13 1973 with Gertrude Hansen chairing in Washburns absence. Attendees Hansen Boyer Sinner Jones White with a July minutes read and approved and numerous bills authorized for payment including payroll taxes fuel and supplies. The budget for 1973 74 was adopted as previously determined July 27 1973 and a hearing on the budget was conducted with no taxpayers speaking. The district approved a wage schedule for hot lunch pricing set teacher hiring actions and various administrative objectives including Title I planning and an elementary laborary project. The session adjourned with Byington as town clerk.
