Mrs Mam e Haynes Arvill died Tuesday October 17 after a ten month illness at her Kansas City home. She had many Mal varn friends who mourn her loss. The funeral will be held at her old Sidney home today with Mia Laird Miss Black Miss Kronsbien and John Moore traveling to Sidney for the services. Sympathy is extended to her parents and her young husband.

Accidental death at Pacific Junction involving James Kirkendall
At about 10 30 Monday night, James Kirkendall was fatally injured at Pacific Junction while switching in a yard. He was crushed between train car bumpers and died at 12 o clock that night. Coroner Whitcat conducted an inquest Tuesday into Wednesday and returned a verdict of accidental death with no blame assigned.
