The Oaks Mystery Circle entertained the Jolly Jones club and other guests Thursday afternoon at the church. Program music by Mrs. Hamilton Lewis opened the event with devotional elements and a solo by Mrs. Byron Viner. Members shown Niagara Falls pictures from a five week Canadian trip, Washington DC and Blue Ridge mountains. Tea centered with fall flowers. Clair Aukland poured coffee and punch served by Mrs. Byron Viner. Next meeting set with Clair Aukland and others. Dixie and Marvin picnicked at Legion park in Red Oak last Sunday.

Clarinda College Plans Open House for 1964 Campus
Clarinda College invites the public to an open house on Sunday afternoon October 27 in the Opitz building of Clarinda Community College. Hosted by the Board of Education and College Corporation, students will serve as guides. Founded in 1923, the college recently moved to a new campus with a record enrollment of 21 students. The first of two classroom buildings will be open, with the second planned for completion in fall 1964.
