A Senior Citizens Craft Workshop on Sept 28 at First Presbyterian Church in Council Bluffs drew 226 attendees. Registration ran 9 to 9:30 am with a 75 cent luncheon. About 30 tables showcased crafts by volunteers, with demonstrations including necklace making, needlepoint, centerpieces, decoupage, quilting, and weaving. The Mills County Board of Supervisors met September 5, 1973 at Glenwood Court House with Bass Washburn and Marshall present.
