Mills County Church Night reflects county relief drive
Residents are reminded of the Church Night event Sunday evening October 8 at the First Baptist Church in Glenwood. Churches statewide are invited to contribute a relief number, with no admission charge. The Milly County Farm Bureau Women's Committee sponsors the program and invites the public to attend the music fest. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 and continue for an hour.

Driving safety tests set for Mills and Fremont schools
Mills and Fremont counties host a driving safety program under Raymond Forsythe with lectures and an in car demonstration. A special car with an electronic stop indicator will show stopping distances at 20 to 60 mph using police drivers. Schedule spans Nishna Valley, Malvern, Glenwood, Sidney, Fremont Mills, Hamburg, and Farragut high schools through October 12 with public invitation.
