Federated Clubs Set 7th District Convention in Corning
The Annual Seventh District Convention of Federated Women's clubs will be held Oct. 6 at First Presbyterian Church in Corning. Registration is 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The theme is Bicentennial Preview 1776 1876. Elections for district officers include Mrs. Robert Byers Mills County chairman urging club women to attend.

A ladies group transplanted plants at a farm, observed winter radishes and onions, and Bertha Stewart stayed overnight September twenty fourth at the home of her daughter in Council Bluffs. Verner Anderson visited Red Oak for a day trip. Gratitude is extended to St John’s Lutheran church for the Sunday service.
