Geraldine Gipe Recital at Fletcher Studio Sunday

Geraldine Gipe of Birahan will present a Sunday piano recital at 4 p m in the Fletcher Studio. She will perform two groups of four pieces, assisted by Martene Johnson who sings three songs, with Patricia Lee Boyer on accompaniment.

East Liberty Ladies Meet and Neighborly News

Mrs Frank DuVal hosted the W. B C. meeting with 24 ladies and four children in attendance. Devotions by Esther Sargent, lesson on people of other races by Mrs Duval, business by Josie Kerney, committees named for future activities and a Hed Cross comforter planned. Thanksgiving postponement to Nov 28 noted. Social time with cupcakes cookies and coffee.

Community Socials and Hospital Update in Tabor Area

Mr and Mrs John Bartholome, Roger Billy and Mrs Dwight Lybercer Nancy Petsy and Larry all of Tabor were afternoon guests funday at the W H Shafer home and supper guests at the Pam Benedict home. Mrs Otis Lewis drove to Omaha last Thursday to visit Mr Lewis who had returned to Clarkson hospital the previous Saturday for further treatment after less than a week spent at home. He was able to come home Saturday. Mr and Mrs W H Maddocks drove to Silver City after services Sunday where they were dinner guests at the home of his parents Mr and Mrs Harry Maddock to help the elder Mr Maddocks celebrate his birthday.
