Geraldine Gipe of Birahan will present a Sunday piano recital at 4 p m in the Fletcher Studio. She will perform two groups of four pieces, assisted by Martene Johnson who sings three songs, with Patricia Lee Boyer on accompaniment.
First Baptist Church Rev William Haker pastor morning worship at 11 a m. First Methodist Church Hex Lester C Hall pastor worship service at 11 a m. Choir practice Thursday 7 junior choir Thursday 4 p m. Circle No 1 meets Thursday afternoon at Mrs Harry Evans home. Our church receives a special invitation to attend services at the Baptist church to hear.
Mrs Frank DuVal hosted the W. B C. meeting with 24 ladies and four children in attendance. Devotions by Esther Sargent, lesson on people of other races by Mrs Duval, business by Josie Kerney, committees named for future activities and a Hed Cross comforter planned. Thanksgiving postponement to Nov 28 noted. Social time with cupcakes cookies and coffee.
Mr and Mrs John Bartholome, Roger Billy and Mrs Dwight Lybercer Nancy Petsy and Larry all of Tabor were afternoon guests funday at the W H Shafer home and supper guests at the Pam Benedict home. Mrs Otis Lewis drove to Omaha last Thursday to visit Mr Lewis who had returned to Clarkson hospital the previous Saturday for further treatment after less than a week spent at home. He was able to come home Saturday. Mr and Mrs W H Maddocks drove to Silver City after services Sunday where they were dinner guests at the home of his parents Mr and Mrs Harry Maddock to help the elder Mr Maddocks celebrate his birthday.
Wesley Chapel Methodist Church reports a good Sunday with messages from Rev. Clayburg district superintendent. A basket dinner at noon, three special musical numbers, and worship at 10 a.m. Church school at 11 a.m. The Woman's Society meets Wednesday, Nov. 28. You are invited.

The event will introduce the chapter and its members, followed by a potluck supper and the installation program. The club now belongs to the state and national Future Homemakers of America.

She leads student council with library corps and cares for each student. Seniors plan party and class pictures amid college prep talks.
